As a board member, you will guide the organization to achieve its mission. The responsibilities of a nonprofit board of directors at Bridgestone Greenways Conservancy include:

• Upholding the organization's mission and vision.
• Hiring and overseeing an executive director.
• Securing operating funds. (give or get )
• Setting the organization's strategy and goals.
• Ensuring that the organization complies with legal and ethical standards.
• Advocating for the organization and utilizing connections to facilitate growth.
• Understanding the organization's mission, rules, and activities.
• Making regular personal donations to support the organization.
• Overseeing finances.
• Mitigating conflicts within the organization.

Board member dues are $200 per year.
